The "Cross my heart" project was tailor-made to suit the exhibition space. The gallery interior itself became an important source of inspiration for the final installation. The supporting structure, growing from inside out, is a clear intervention into the gallery interior space. The external walls fix and at the same time determine the internal tension. The two posts situated in the middle function as some kind of boundary interconnecting or dividing the internal and external space. The binding pattern, with straps drawn together in the middle and on the edges by means of ratchet buckles, is a reminiscence of the well-known tying pattern used for example on shoes or ladies' corsets... It delimits what is on the inside and what on the outside. The act of fastening, securing, fixing the installation to a stable point divides it into two spaces; the one where one can enter and the other one which is not accessible to the public.

The video titled "Where is my first end?" is a part of the installation. The vertical delimitation of the space into two halves refers to the way we perceive images in the exterior of a landscape. The view of the progressing action is limited by the openings provided in the through-flowing water wall and it depends on the weather conditions.

And how about our personal space? What does it depend on? Can we enter it and influence the action, our story? I believe that we can - cross my heart...

Projekt „Na mou duši“ vznikl přesně na míru. Prostor galerie se stal důležitým inspiračním zdrojem pro finální instalaci. Jednoznačný zásah do interiéru tvoří nosná kompozice, která vyrůstá zevnitř směrem ven. Obvodové stěny zároveň fixují, vymezují vnitřní pnutí. Dva sloupy uprostřed jsou jakousi hranicí propojující nebo oddělující vnitřní a vnější prostor. Způsob vázání a šněrování stažené mezi sebou a po obvodu ráčnami připomíná nám dobře známé šněrování například bot nebo dámského korzetu... Vymezuje to, co je uvnitř a venku. Přikurtování, jištění, fixování k pevnému bodu rozděluje celou instalaci na prostor kam lze vstoupit a ten druhý, který je veřejnosti nepřístupný.

Video „ Kde mám první konec?“ je součástí instalace. Vertikální vymezení prostoru na dvě poloviny odkazuje k vnímání obrazů v exteriéru krajiny. Probíhající děj je vázán na průhledy mezi protékající vodní stěnou a je závislý na povětrnostních podmínkách.

A co náš osobní prostor, na čem je závislý? Můžeme vstoupit a ovlivnit jeho děj, příběh? Věřím, že ano, na mou duši...
